I am a Chartered Environmentalist with over 18 years of experience working in environmental management, environmental economics, sustainable development and climate change and have authored various publications on these topics, such as Ecosystem based adaptation : knowledge gaps in making an economic case for investing in nature based solutions for climate change, which was launched at the UNFCCC COP 21 in Paris, France. I am skilled in policy analysis, strategic planning, training and awareness raising. I specialize in change management, as well as developing and leading high performing multidisciplinary teams of technical experts to achieve creative solutions across disciplines and to take advantage of emerging opportunities. I have a proven record of creating and executing high profile, complex programmes and projects in changing, fast-paced and diverse environments, while effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.

When I am not working on conservation and sustainable development, I write on various issues including religion, feminism, politics, human rights, liberalism and secularism.

I am a staunch advocate of science education, in particular astrophysics, and blog about latest news regarding this. All of my blogs can be found on this website.
